ECU Type?
 

Hi guys,

I recently started playing with some back end tuning softwares and am looking to possibly start playing with our cars. Does anyone on here have any experience with WinOLS? Or perhaps what can read our Hitachi MEC107 ECU? If I could get a bin file out of the car to start on that would be awesome.

Have u tried ECUFlash to pull the ROM yet? I haven't tried it myself even though I have ECUFlash on my laptop...:icon17:
I believe the ECU processor is a Hitachi SH2? Correct me if I'm r0ng?
IDA Pro 6.6.140604 to begin the reverse engineering....Break out yo wallet for that pr0g!

I ordered the cable and am waiting for it to show. I am then going to try and get a dump of the rom and start digging through it.

If I can get a clean dump of the ECU I should be able to map out my own tables for the car and play around with them and see if I cant put together something tangible.

Do you have any experience with winOLS? or possibly tunerpro?

I have the free WIN0LS DL on my desktop. It really don't help much...Going to PM att...
