Z1 Motorsport Osiris Engine Management Mail In Flash Service

Anyone have experience with this? Would this be a solution after I get my header and plenum installed? Any positives or negatives? Thanks in advance for the help.

Is there anyone local to you? It's always so much easier to have a dyno tune rather than mail in.

I would recommend e-tuning over sending the entire ECU out but it takes a little understanding of the software as you'll need to pull ECU# and then do some back and forth logging/tune adjustment. The Z1 option is probably faster depending on the e-tuners availability but getting adjustments based on actual logging will give you a better map.

I would only only consider one of these options if you are NA. If FI then custom tune dyno tune is the only way to go.

However I completely agree with Chuck. If you have a local UpRev tuner, take it to him for a custom dyno tune.

Dyno tune is always the best solution if you have a reputable local tuner. I know the word reputable gets thrown around alot, but its actually quite rare to find proper tuners for each platform at times.

that being said, the z1 option I believe would be great. When i had my Z, Jon from Z1 put a tune on there based without the dyno tune as I was not done with mods yet, but I wanted to get something on there. It made the car run much better. Smoother, quicker, better responding. And that was again, without the dyno tune part.

Thanks for all the info guys, Dynosty is actually only a couple hours from me. I'll check with them as well.

If you're that close to those guys, I would highly recommend a dyno session. Dustin, Hal and Eddie are A OK in my book!

Take my information to account Steven. Granted everyone makes mistakes I'd hate to see you floating the same boat my man.

granted my application is different than yours I don't want to see any other forum members let along a good friend of mine(steve) get thrown to the fire like I was.

synolimit 07-02-2014 04:18 PM

Hmm ok. Well I'll see if they ever email me back. It's been like 4 days. Still no idea for a tuner then.
