Default Just got tuned with ecutek

hello all,

my car just got tuned with ecutek went from 300hp to 318hp so pretty happy with the result. Here in Australia we don't have that many places i can go to, to get the car tuned. i paid $1699 for the ecutek license and the tune and i didn't receive the ecutek cable or data logging software or any documentation of the ecutek license. Is this right? can anyone else weigh in on this, it just didn't seem right to me and i have just realized now after i got home. Thanks

EcuTek is more expensive in Australia .

What's the break down on the bill?

The EcuTek license is the fee ecutek charges , it's like purchasing a Microsoft office license

Looks good but that the curve would look even better if it was little more linear. What other mods to you have?

Wow...I got my UpRev dyno tune for $500 ($700 if you include the cable). Infact I don't have a NA mod on my car that comes close to $1700.

I guess prices are higher down under.... interesting.

Note to self, don't go to Australia to get a tune

PS: The curve is a bit erratic but the power seems good.

What was the ambient temperature when you did your dyno runs?

You paid all that money for 18 ponies with all those mods and that is all they were able to achieved from a tune.

Maybe I'm a little rusty on N-m conversion to HP but I calculated a 26hp gain (306 to 332)

Jwick where are you pulling those numbers from, 306 to 322? I don't see where those #### are listed.

I am just going of off the mouth of the OP stated in quotes.

I converted N-m to HP as I stated in my post. Maybe my conversion is off but that's what I came up with. The dynochart clearly states N-m, not HP.

Even so 18HP is a pretty good for a NA tune. Most people pick up 10-15

I was under the impression that the car had all of those mods before the tune, and the tune was responsible for the 18 hp.
