Megan, is the Brake/Throttle limiter only on the protuner cable? Also, did it work as you thought, negating the need to pull the brake fuse for burnouts?
Also, any new insights into VVEL tuning in general?

Yeah I tried it, it works with normal Tuner and does what I expected it to do (not cut throttle when brakes applied on a road-course). I have no idea if that also lets you do a burnout on the brakes, but I would think so.

Hmm. Just tried latest update and no menu for Brake/Throttle limiter.
Maybe only for pro after all? I'm pretty sure I have a tuner version -- am I missing something obvious? Although I did see VHR correction maps, which I don't recall being there before...

as of now they haven't included Brake/Throttle limiter into that ROM yet.
sorry ,, quick edit; they might do it faster if you email them directly (Jared) and ask about this option. |

hahajust noticed something overlay the valve clearance table and the cam advance table, then ask yourself why are all the cam advance positions way past what the clearance table says you can run.

if nothing changed only the Pro Tuner could see & adjust the knock table so I would understand if the feature to look at the knock strength is only for the Pro Tuner as well. Btw, guessing isn't helping anyone or be precise ! |
