JTran's Dyno is set to read low on purpose.

The reason I suggested a dynojet is that there's less setup, so numbers are more comparable to other cars. Mustangs can be set up however you want them to read, so its harder to compare two vehicles on different mustang dynos than dynojets.

A lot of people were like WTF is that and what do you have. The exhaust is definitely an EFFEN screamer and a head turner. I love the acceleration and especially the deceleration while downshifting noise. I still get a big smile on my face when I get up to 4-5k RPM’s, but I’m going to start opening her all the way and just let her EFFEN scream like she is meant to do.

I’m not disappointed by the numbers and I wasn’t holding my breath for the car to be 400 whp. The dyno numbers are cool and everything, but it is all what the tuner can do. I will go a couple more times to JTran, so I can have a more accurate number for my cold weather map and I want a map for when it is EFFEN Texas balls hot outside.

If I was to do a dyno on a DynoJet, I would think my whp would be in the range of 320-340 whp (probably 330 whp give or take 1-2whp). Realistically the whp might be 325 whp give or take 1-2 whp. This is just pure speculation on the whp, but the key is for the ECU to get the mods down and for me to drive the car like I stole it.

Ohh yeah, your Meisterchaft sounded the best off all the cars that I watched get dyno. IT was defanatly the BOSS!!! Just too loud.. in a good and bad way. Jtranz dyno is finiky i guess. My bros 07 Stang Shelby read only 257 whp and like 280 tq. He does have allseason tires and they are 1 size smaller than what there are suppose to be but man!! It's a Shelby v8. I still would not try and beat him on the highway going at 60mph. His car slams you into the seat when he gasses.

IT was definatly a cool event. After we went home, both my bro and I started reading on supercharging and turbo.

As stated above, I'm completely stock other than K&N short rams.

LOL..... Thnxs & I appreciate it. The exhaust is definitely a holly effen mother. It can get extremely loud. Those numbers are very low for your bros Shelby. The Shelby is no slouch on the road & he would more than likely spank 95% of the people there on the road. I have no idea what I actually ran that evening when everone was there. Mustang Dyno's are heart breaker (aka kick in the d**k) number generator. What were actual numbers? It looks like you produce 256 whp & 215 lbs of torque.

Need to look more...so a tunes only good for 14hp and 9tq?

YzGyz 12-24-2013 03:11 AM

Maybe....if not more depending on what you have on your car. A tune will help give you constant power throughout the RPM band & pickup the ponies you lost when adding multiple mods.

Nice......very nice & not bad @ all for only having one mod.

Not to mention better throttle response and the ability to adjust the fan cycle.

Sure, you may only gain 10-15whp at the peak, but the torque gains at low rpm are more than double that.

:iagree: FO SHO playa. You get better gas mileage too, but I'm all about the ECU picking up the mods & the wild man behind the wheel.....hehehehe. Don't go to some douche bag joker who doesn't know jack squait about tuning the vehicle. Getting a tune from the right shop/guy is a 110% win win. JTran has it on lock down on moding & tuning a vehicle.

Not from his chart from what I'm seeing. Biggest gains were only up top for HP and the 9tq was mid range. I guess I'll have to see. As of now my logs are damn near perfect. Only a little leaner and a few more degrees of timing I could use. Just hoped its more.

A buddy of mine picked up 20ft/lbs under 4500 rpm.

synolimit 12-24-2013 08:11 PM

Won't be bad, that's almost 250tq then down there.
