Go with the ZSpeed HD CSC and the JWT HD Clutch & Flywheel. I spent $1,073 for the two plus installation.

i'd go with the southbend dxd stage 2 endurance clutch kit with the 19lb flywheel to reduce transmission chatter. i use to have a jwt flywheel and chatter like diesel truck and sold it. if you dont mind the chatter go ahead plus its lighter

I have a JWT clutch, chatter is not bad unless you have windows down and no music on. Music on and you can't hear anything and windows up you can't really hear it, its almost like background noise.
You will need a HD CSC, I got mine done when I was getting my CSC replaced under warranty and my new factory one is starting to fail, I have only had it on for 5k miles now.

From the research that I've done; most recommended Southbend DxD 19lbs steel flywheel.

Southbend Stage 3 6-puck drag clutch and Southbend "Black" steel flywheel, checking in.
It may be a bit overkill for some people, but I'll be damned if I find anything with more driveability, engagement force, and peace of mind with anything else but a twin-disk.

I'll try my best to describe the engagement and pedal feel. Compared to stock, it is definitely stiffer, but nothing you couldn't get used to. In heavy city traffic, I do forsee some sore legs, however. Better eat those greens.
The clutch engagement is not super-immediate, like an on or off switch on a twin-disk, but the clutch DOES NOT like to be slipped. Any slip, and the clutch will refuse to grab and hold power, and you'll be just burning up the clutch. The way I take off, is to pulse both the gas and clutch in an almost alternating fashion, as to give the clutch several hard engages, and using up the momentum from the flywheel so it starts moving. It was jerky at first, but you get used to it and it becomes smooth. All of my friends who drive my car say the same - the clutch doesn't grab and stall the car immediately, but moving from a standstill smoothly takes some getting used to. Keep in mind I do have the steel flywheel, so if you do go aluminium, your experience may be different. All in all, I daily drove this way until I got my beater car for daily driving no problems, and I got used to it in a week, and I have no regrets. It's a bit more expensive than the JWT setup or other setups, but I have full confidence in this clutch when I do spirited driving or drag racing at the strip.

Thanks. although i want it bad probably wont end up getting it. i get stuck in the los angles traffic too much to be able to handle that clutch. dont want one leg to look like the incredible hulk and the other to look like jimmy neutron

Call joe at zspeedperfrmance, he will literally educate you on the proper clutch for driving conditions.... No issues with my southbend SS clutch with the aluminum flywheel and a zspeed csc. My friend describes it as the perfect street clutch, its easy to drive around town, but when you start slamming gears it locks up nice and hard This clutch is basically a JWT, uses the same exedy disk just a southbend pressure plate. THe CSC upgrade is a necessity!

Thanks, z1 has a great price, but the fly wheel is steel, not aluminum. Looks like JWT is the one....
