40th AE Tune
Here's the results from my tune by Keith at awdtuning (DFW). Mods include JWT intakes and Fast Intentions resonated exhaust. He told me the initial run before tuning was getting some pings around 5000 RPM, so he shut it down and consequently I don't have pre /post comparison. Post results were max 307 RWHP and 233 lt-lbs (Mustang Dyno). This slightly beat the previous NA 370Z record for his shop. I also had him load wstar's 2300 smooth throttle curve.
Butt dyno results are still pending as I have not had suitable time & place to do some runs. As I have Torque running in my Nexus-7 tablet installation, I plan to do some timed and captured runs switching between tuned and stock maps. Test summary Dyno curve |
Good numbers man . Pretty much inline with what others have out down with those
Mods. |
Nice, when I had my Maxima I was going to go to them. If I make up my mind about tune and if going with Uprev or Ecutek, I may check them out. But still don't like the fact they didn't give you a before dyno.
How long did it take them to get you tuned? |
Took about 2.5 hrs to do the tune and road test. Since I had oil cooler install and some other work done first, they disconnected battery and reset ECU. Then when Keith went to perform the baseline dyno run, it was detecting some knock so this why he aborted the 1st run.
