MCR SWAT ROM Midori ECU Mines ECU Thoughts?
Hey guys I was flipping through HyperRev Magazine and I found plenty of ECU solutions for the Z34. Which one would be compatible with USDM Z34s? VVEL is adjusted for many of these JDM ECU units and I wonder if there is hidden power to be made for a full bolt on 370Z. What are your thoughts?

Your ECU options are Uprev or Ecutek.

Just to explain a little...
One of these canned tune "mail in ECU service" things is NEVER going to be as good as a "flashable" tuning solution where you can do logs and get the tune adjusted for your car. Magazines like to run lots of info on "JDM" stuff, but just because that's how they do it in Japan doesn't mean it's always the best way to do it... especially where retail tuning shops are involved. The #1 thing I would recommend to anyone who is shopping for anything for these cars is to stop and think: This has XYZ Tuning house logo on it... is it the best option, or is it catalog filler selling on brand recognition? I promise that more than half the time for this car, it's the latter, not the former. You find the best products from companies that specialize in this platform (or at the very least, this family of car). /rant |

Plus Japan apparently tends to run 100 RON anyway. |
Woah guys....you are saying that something by a JDM company is possibly not the best or worth its value?

Best case scenario, it pulls out so much timing not to knock you're back at the same power level you started at. :rofl2: |
Thanks for the comments guys. I an Uprev tuned right now but don't know if any VVEL adjustments have been made. Ill have to talk to Rob at Z Car Garage.
