Finally having my Z Uprev tuned! I am hoping to pickup an M370 before then. I'm gonna make sure I upload all the stats here so others can see what I got from my mods.

What do you guys think I will put down as final numbers? I'll Paypal a small donation to the closest guess to HP and Torque! Your post must be no later than 2 November 2013 by 5pm PST.

I'll be on a Dynojet at Intec Racing.

Mods are:
Stillen G3's
Stillen UD Pulley and belt
Motordyne ART pipes
FI TDX CBE with 12" resonators

M370 won't need tuned so I am going to install later after the tune.

It doesn't need it, but it will work better if you're tuned for it. If it were me, I'd have all the parts I wanted installed before I got tuned.

If I am pleased with the results, I will hold off on the M370. I have purchased all that I want outside of going FI. But that's another project for down the road, possibly in a year or two.

Coolvans1988 was the closest. Over on HP and Under on torque. SpeedFreak had the 2nd closest guess. Same HP but over a bit higher on torque for his guess.

I decided based on closest to HP and both tied. I used the torque as the tiebreaker.

Do you guys know if Intec can do the Cat delete and Fan Contro Mod when they do the tune? Also how much do they charge? I am getting a tune soon.

Any protuner can do those; I know Lawrence has been tuning Uprev longer than most, he should have no trouble getting a beast tune on your Z. I'd call and talk to him directly tho, I have no idea on pricing or whatnot

There's no extra for that, The Cooling fan speed tune is WORTH IT. The damn stock fans don't come in full till 225!!! I had mine set to come on full at 185 :)

+1, its only an issue with some of the less experienced uprev tuners who don't know how to do it, never an additional charge.

Did Fan Control mods too, mine come on at 192/196/205 full. Since I live in the PNW, this should be fine.

How's it feel?

Much better, smoother! I am curious to see if the Fan Control Mod helps in the warmer climates. I would hit 220 on the daily in traffic.

I have some friends down south that say it makes a big difference in the heat

I did 185/195/205 for fan (have GTM cooler too). You guys have higher torque numbers than I do. I wish I had more torque. My tuner didn't seem to pay too much attention to detail. I had to tell him to tweak my throttle maps and he seemed reluctant to do so, until I showed him Wstar's throttle map.

edit: nothing worse than feeling like your car didn't get the time it deserved on the dyno.

Ill be going back soon, once these new LTHs from FI get installed. Can't wait to see the difference from the ART pipes!

There was a new UPREV update so I went back and got it, also disabled the cats was still throwing a P0420 code. :ughdance:

Nice! We have the exact same setup now, so you're doing me a huge favor, haha. You have to post sound clips when you're done.

I've got a new GoPro with suction cup mount, I've gotta set that thing up!

When do you plan on the install? Are you going back to the same place for tune?
