Tunes impact on Warranty

yes. the ecu will keep count. only reason I, myself, won't get a tune. and that was enough to preclude me from persuing the Akuma intakes. sadly.

if you are worried about warranty, avoid the tune. if you go by the adage of "pay to play", tune away.

I actually brought this up with my local service manager and he told me that they could not tell the difference between a nissan reflash (firmware update, or just reprogram) and an aftermarket reflash, as long as it had been removed prior to bringing it in
