It's very hot in the dyno room today..

256tq and 298 whp.. over 100 in here.. not bad for just cat deletes and a flash

Alkatraz 06-27-2013 07:37 PM

Looks good.
Not sure if I am reading it correctly though. Was the car running 291hp/248tq on the stock ECU with HFC's as the only mod???

NickTurnon 06-27-2013 07:43 PM

I put down 256/222 almost stock when my oil was 220 and it was 102 outside. So if thats correct, then thats a great tune!

I guess that's where my confusion is. The way I am reading the graphs, the car already had VERY high HP and TQ with only HFC's and the stock ECU tune. What I am thinking is that Run #2 is with the stock ECUTek tune and then the extra gains are Vistconti's improvements.

If this is the case do you have a base line run on the stock ECU tune?

Stock flash was the green line

Car had a very strong baseline, but we were able to pick up power

Good numbers from the tune! Glad to see more and more dynos being done.

NickTurnon 06-28-2013 10:13 AM

Do you have a baseline?

Not a 100% stock one.

Car came in with high-flow cats

So it picked up +7whp and +8wtq?

I wonder how UPREV would do.

So a "Stock" car, Just HFC's made 291WHP?? Does that sound high to anyone other than me. Considering a full stock car makes 265-270 WHP

Not with HFC+ tune.

He didnt have the tune yet, and made 291 with just HFCs and everything else stock. What the guy above you is trying to say, is that those HFC's must have given him 20+ hp above stock 265-270whp**.

well every car is different, i have seen some 370z baseline at 280whp so it is possible that his car stock would be at 280whp than the HFCs gave him 11whp more
