I think everyone is looking for the VVEL TWEAKS but I thought someone had done this already . An as much as I want to go with something "new" ECUTEK why an I still flopping back and forth with UPREV. An Joe will you just not use UPREV again because the lack of support or is ECUTEK just that far superior to UPREV ?

Just figured I'd throw my 2 cents in. I'm also looking forward to all of the different features that ECUtek has promised down the line though I may not be in as big a rush as others.

Software aside, I'd like to second all the comments regarding Joe's customer service. He really makes himself available, even to someone hundreds of miles away like me. I get an answer every time I call him on the phone and I can always tell I'm probably pulling him away from something more important because he's either got a car on the dyno or he's slightly panicked at the time (The type of panic that a looming deadline tends to induce.) Whatever your situation is he is quick to respond and infinitely patient. Bottom line is that he makes time for you and keeps you coming back. I'm completely confident that Joe's the type of person that gives the same amount of attention and care to cars regardless of price (in terms of a $90k car vs a $30k car).

that's a fair question; as far as I am concerned it that ecutek has, offered far more, and much deeper customer service. Couple that with the simple fact we have twice the maps to work with( ok, we are still developing WHAT some of them do), and its sort of a no brainer.

The other thing that has always bugged me with Uprev is that the numbers in the tables, in many cases, have no relationship to anything.

Please do not take this as me running it down, but you asked, and that's my opinion

No Thanx Joe , that's what I was looking for . Ill be candid I was on the PayPal page last night ( link here) to he the loaner cable an software , filled everything in an just stopped . Not sure why, maybe it's because I was tuned with UPREV before , and the $$ for me to change is significant ? From what I have heard and the convos we've had your service had been great , just hard for me to pull the trigger sorry . :/

funny you mention this; we just open a GB for the guys over at MX5.net to announce the new RaceRom featurefile coming rollout for the MX5. So we got a REAL GOOD deal from the mothership for buying a LARGE lot of harware.

So I tell you what I will do; I'll do the same deal on hardware for you guys if there is enough interest
