Dynotronics is looking for a test car for a free tune

Ok guys(and girls) we are currently looking for a long term test subject for our new EcuTek based 370z tuning. Yes I know other tuners are selling them already, but we prefer to test everything long term(month) before we sell it.

We already have a track based car we will be testing on, so what we are looking for is;

  1. someone in the San Antonio/Austin area( or are willing to travel to us) that can live without your car for two-three days at a time(weekends will do also). This will need to happen at least twice, but as many as three times over the course of this test.
  2. that can keep reasonable records
  3. that can follow instructions for dataloging
  4. someone with enough experience using a laptop to send and recieve emails, data and files(don't laugh, you would be suprised!)
  5. can keep a reasonable low profile on the forums, and not yack it up until we are finished.
  6. a steet car with limited mods, ie; intake, exhaust, headers are fine

What you get;

  1. Free base tuning( yes I said FREE!) for your car. With lifetime(the car's not yours)file adjustments for mods if you provide datalogs with a ProEcu program kit
  2. dyno sheets from our in house chassis dyno
  3. 10-14 rwhp gains from the base tune

What it costs you;

  1. Time
  2. A one time license fee for your car( you get it at cost)
  3. if you wish, we will offer you a ProEcu programing kit at cost so you can read,write and datalog your car(or your friends, if you want too)
  4. Cleaning fees for your shorts, after you drive your freshly tuned 370z

This test should take no more than one month. The reason for long term, customer based beta testing is simple; we want to find, isolate and remove any issues that might crop up durring normal operational cycles. Using a beta tester allows us to monitor the data, and make adjustments based on that data, in a real world situation

Just got off the phone after a great conversation with Joe. I'm hoping to go by there in the next week to visit and maybe try to see if we can't work out a schedule for my Z to be their guinea pig :excited:

Excited for my appt on Sunday morning :tup:

Joe, it occurs to me that I still have the stock intakes. I could install or bring them for true stock comparison if you're interested. Just let me know if yes.

Nice, hopefully good things come out of it. I never got scheduled for my uprev tune, so maybe I'll wait to see what ECUtek brings to the table.

I drove my Z down to their shop today, and Joe did a ECU ROM dump that he will upload to ECUtek to add to their database :tup:

It was very nice meeting you today, Joe. Thanks for the compliment on the Z :tiphat: I should have told you to look closer at the front bumper before you say it looks new :icon17:
