Guys, how much of a gain could you honestly expect with just tuning? I currently have the Cobb AP for my 2005 Legacy GT and it did wonders but that was for a turbo vehicle.

Not that I am aware of, that is something usually used for turbo cars to build boost at the line
It all depends on where you are at to begin with, we have seen some Z's running lean and some rich, so of course if you are rich there is room to make some power plus timing, you can also sharpen the throttle response and raise the rev limiter. From Osiris experience with the 350Z we typically see about 10 RWHP increase and improved response.

well if you download the software you can go to any tuner, they may need to play with it to get used it, it is not straight forward as other tuning software, but a good tuner will figure it out, just need to read the manual and understand what the numbers do.

Where is the COBB Tuning map ??
they are bit slow at getting this out. I suspect there is not much left to play with in this engine with a few bolt on's, hence they slow boat to china effect.

If you buy an accessport you can download the tuner race software which is the same Cobb tuners get just tied to the one accessport, with this you can access the maps and tune the car.

from your experience so far in tuning the 370z, would u say buying this access port is worth it with a stillen g3 intake system and a fast intentions catback exhaust with high flow cats? how much more whp would i see if brought to a good tuning shop with this access port and these mods? its a price vs. benifit thing for me, would you say its worth it with just those mods? thanks.

Sorry, to get a custom tune on your Z with the Cobb, you have to buy an accessport to get the license to tune your ECU, then you can either download the racer software and take it to a tuner or tune yourself, or if you have access to a local Cobb tuner they may have the Pro software and tune your ECU.

Jack has been waiting on some feedback from Cobb on things he suggested but I think we should get you on the dyno and see what your setup will do, Jack is out of town for 10 days so when he gets back I will talk to him about trying yours
