isnt the VVEL already very close to optimum (or shouldnt it be) unless you are changing the exhaust camshaft? it would be strange for nissan to put in so much

isnt the VVEL already very close to optimum (or shouldnt it be) unless you are changing the exhaust camshaft? it would be strange for nissan to put in so much effort to create this VVEL thing and have it on the market with messed up settings?
it will be interesting to see what kind of gain can be had using longer duration/high lift exhaust cams.. and make it would sound better too!
