Is 390 bhp too much to ask for?
I have a 2013 Nismo. You all know the specs. 350hp (18bhp gain over base, supposedly from the Nismo CBE and "mild" tuning.)
I'm looking to make the following mods (I'm assuming 82% efficiency and some horsepower numbers I've gathered from this forum.) AEM Nismo CAI: 19.7whp (24bhp) Test Pipes or HFC: 5-15whp (~6-18bhp) UpRev tune: 5-15whp (~6-18bhp) I know the final actual working horsepower gained does not equal the sum of individual component's claimed horsepower gains. But I want to know if you all think 390bhp (~320whp) with just CAI, HFC and the stock Nismo CBE is realistic? |
Probably going to have to change the Cat-Back and do an UpRev tune if you want to see in the area of 320 wheel.

I have a 2010 nismo with Nissan intake, stock cat-back exhaust, berk HFC, and uprev tune. I was at 316 Hp or so...on a warm but not hot day. I posted my dyno plots in this section before. So have others with similar mods. Search a bit and you cab find them. You will need a tune.

I dont see it being to crazy to ask, I made 298 WHP, 7 SPD auto, intake and catback, tune only, NO TP's or HFC's you may see 312-315WHP.

It will depend on the dyno quite frankly. I would expect maybe a total of ~20whp increase with your basic bolt on modifications you had listed. On a 6speed g37s coupe with just a catback and tuning we saw right at 300whp. I believe the graph is posted on this forum actually in the tuning/dyno section. This was on a mustang dyno which tend to read 10%-12% lower than a dynojet style dyno.
