Up rev- ECU Tune
Hi guy,
I live locally in San Jose, norcal. Does any one know some places that i can do an ECU tune? I only know a place called Z garage. They offer a first tune for 640$ to gain from 8-> 10 whp. I dont know if it's a fair price or an expensive price. It would be so helpful if you all can give me other options about ECU tune in nor cal. |
Are you stock? If not worth it? What mods do you have if any? You will pick up more than that BTW. +15WHP or so mid range not up top.

Seems about right.

If that price includes your uprev license that is VERY cheap. Are they well known in the area? Make sure you use someone with proven results before to prevent any premature failures or drive-ability issues.

That's not VERY cheap lol, I've talked to six different Uprev tuner locations and got quotes from $550-$750. You also might not get a lot of extra hp, it depends on how your car is responding to the mods you have on there. I've seen people gain everything from 5-31 hp depending on mods. I myself gained 9hp and 12tq from full bolts ons. Just make sure that they have done a lot of Uprev tunes before you and that they know what they are doing, you'll be fine :)
