This is a beautiful 2010 Pearl White sitting on some Volk TE37 wheels. Car looks great with just the subtle changes he has made. The exhaust system sounds great, and at the time of this tune he was running catless test pipes. He had one of them crack on him unfortunately so we have some BERK HFC on order. Stay tuned for an updated graph. This graph shows how the car turned out with the mods listed above. Very smooth powerband and great response from the supercharger kit. Man you guy take care of the VQ motor great job! Did he order the SC kit from you guys or did he already have it?
|
Nice... however I still dont understand how people fork out so much cash for a pretty small IMO bump in power.. not trying to bash just dont see why anyone would wanna SC their VQ...
|

I do like the headroom a nice twin turbo set-up gives you over this blower set-up. Much easier to grow. Quote:

Your right about the auto the only complaint I have is off the line is not as agressive as I think it should be with 300 WTRQ, |

Edited to add: I'll be the first to admit, now that I've gotten a taste of the boost I want a TT kit BADLY, finances are the only thing holding me back :icon18: |
Really , Only 9PSI @ redline, You might wanna put the stock cats back on, I have them and I see 10 sometimes at redline and that was on their 8PSI pully?. I expect to see 13PSI when I get the car back together with the cod set up and upgraded the SC from SCI trim to SI trim,
|
I'm on Berk HFCs now and have yet to even take it to redline to see what pressure it hits, I'll be sure to update the thread once I see that result. I have no intention of returning to stock cats.

I don't understand why people recommend putting stock parts back on because they haven't reached full boost from the kit. Look at the amount of power it's making per psi. 420whp from a stillen kit, on a mustang dyno, and at 9 psi is nothing to sneeze at, that is pretty stout. If I were looking for bigger number than that, I surely wouldn't be running a supercharger, I would be looking at a turbo setup. Especially on a stock bottom end. I'm no expert, or mechanic, but a lot of reading and the Google tells me, do what is already known, and it will save you a lot of money, time, and headaches.
Now I'm not saying, don't try anything new, I'll be the first one to sticky, just make sure you do what your wallet and pride can handle :P |
