Forgive me if this is posted in the wrong section, still learning my way around. This is a 2011 Nismo 370z we did several weeks ago. We have been doing a few of these boosted Z cars lately and they are a lot of fun, figured it was time to hop on the forums . I did a write up on this car a few days ago with a couple pics we took during the process. You can check it out HERE. It has a lot more info about the car. Without further delay here are the final numbers.

Nice

Why didn't you use 5th gear like your supposed to? Fifth gear is 1:1 ratio which is what you want for accurate results. Some people have said that they've received lower numbers on the dyno when not using 5th gear!

When you going to try out 8 psi? Our cars stock can handle that I believe.

Nice number man, Plus 1 for the gear question tho?

Sorry guys didn't see the follow up posts. This was done on a Mustang dyno which is a "loaded dyno". The minor difference in gear ratio would have a very minute difference in HP/TQ numbers. We are discussing turning the boost up a few pounds currently, when we do a re-tune we can test the numbers between a 4th gear pull and a 5th gear pull on a loaded dyno to satisfy everyones curiosity.

Thanks,

Did you guys try it in 5th and saw nothing major in the numbers, I did a 4th and 5th gear pull on mine and 4th was like a lot less, ;/

No I don't believe we did a single pull in 5th gear on this car. We are going to be doing a custom oil cooler on the car next to help with some of the temps we are seeing in the middle of summer here. At that time we will probably turn the boost up a little. That would be the perfect time for a comparison .

Looking for the results,

Haha, you are correct there ANMVQ. We didnt experience any problems until it got above 100deg here in the city. Ran on the dyno with no issue.
