Problem! Can not connect with the ecu! PLS Help!

hi folks,

we have removed all airbag sensors on our track tool, now we have the problem, that we are not able to connect with the ecu over uprev's cipher or osiris. did anyone have made the same experiance? can someone help to solve this problem?

best regards from germany

Is your track tool hooked up to the OBD port at the same time as uprev (ie a splitter)? I was running into some issues with this too. The uprev software is a bit sensitive and seems to only work when hooked up by itself.

no, its near stock on this end. obd port is empty and if we try to make a connection with this port, it dont work.

I saw an issue with a 350 last night where they couldn't get uprev to work on the car. They had to ground the car directly to ground ie. they took a jumper cable and hooked up the negative from the battery to the lift. Said it was due to a bad ground, but they did not have to do this with any 370's. Could be worth a shot

thanks, i will check it but does it have something to do with the fact that we have removed all of the airbag sensors and parts?

Hi Thomas,
What year is the car? I saw a similar issue with a 2012 recently.
