UPREV, ECU relean = no power?

Hey guys,

So some of you know that I went and tracked the car had some traction issues but the car still did not feel right( On the track or the street) So I meet up with my tuner this weekend to go over things, We reflashed the car again, and , What the hell is drive like a animal again?( Was kinda on the passive side a lot lately), There has been some talk about the 370Z releaning driving habbits and taking away from the tune? Has anyone else thought they have had this? We talk about that, He also made some small timing ( Added) and took out some fuel, And played with the TQ tables a little, But nothing huge. I clearlly remember a few of the pulls( Street pulls) From I dig I could actulaly fell the car like twist coming off the line, and hearing the release vave( BOV) when shift at redline, I had not felt the twist ever before, . :icon14:

maybe you should invest in a real custom tune?

lol indyn... Dont give advice when you have no clue what you are talking about.

I think our cars do relearn after a while. When I spoke with a tuner he mentioned that they give the ecu parameters, and put in a target a/f but the car does adjust timing and other factors accordingly. Chances are your car just isnt giving the same timing or a/f all of the time depending on weather conditions and your previous commutes. Unfortunately I cant think of a real way of testing this unless you were data logging constantly. Now that I think about it.. I would just have your tuner log your car for the next week and see if he finds anything.

I was thinking maybe something along that line, or have him send me my file and when I fell the cars power or drivability go down just reflash it myself, I can not drive this like a stole it a lot, I sit in traffic 5 days a week when I drive to work, My commute sux, LOL .. I have the cable and stuff from Stillen that came with SC kit, I just never installed the software on my laptop?

I would install the software and data log then. Really the biggest thing I would keep an eye on is where and how much timing it is pulling to get to the target a/f

no I don't have clue with tuning, especially on a FI car.

Custom tune seemed to really help with the Stillen kit and since ANMVQ already got it, thats good.
Since the OP has posted his experiences and issues so far with the kit, and most of them are with the tuning, I was merely suggesting approaching a tuner who has lot of experience with Stillen s/c.
