I was also secretly hoping it did not just put the throttle into some "keep your foot out of it stupid" limp mode, but rather tweaked Fuel/air, or valve timing to squeeze more push out at the expense of torque and horse power in the lower rpm ranges.


perhaps I should just go out and get a tuner license from uprev and start tweaking. If I come up with something mind blowing I'll be sure to post it here and on the Prius forums lol.
