Tps code 1239
Hey guys i have been trying to track down this issue but cant a link to any solutions. I have the stillen kit and at first had a legit faulty Throttle body so i replaced that and car was running great. Then suddenly one day it went into limp mode, i used the uprev cable and it have me the same code, same bank, p1239, bank 2. Is it the harness? I have read some guys think the harness it comes with isnt good but this on going now and the car even cmears itself of the code and will drive fine then randomly go into limp mode and throw that code. Please help, this is a real pain in the butt.

so, I used to have the Stillen kit installed, and it was Stillen's brilliant idea to cut and splice an extension to the maf sensors instead of using nice connectors. Anyways....if for any reason there are any exposed wires in that extension, this can cause limp mode if it randomly grounds itself. I had this happen to me even after having removed the kit, because we didn't fully tape up one of the wires. But I would definitely check the maf cables.
Or, could it be your other TPS? |

Tps code
So the car magically cleared itself of the code and no its bank 2 which is same side i changed already. I will look into it some more and see if its maf wiring.

Sudden loss of throttle response
I have a 370Z 2014 purchased new in Dec. 2013 and have since put 65,000 miles on it with no issues. This model has the 7 speed auto. Leaving from work 1 week ago my Z did just that after a few minutes of driving, step on the gas and nothing. I drove onto the highway and steadily reached 65 - 70 mph but a very slow climb almost like the engine was starving for fuel though I had over 2/3 tank. I pulled over and walked around the vehicle to listen for odd engine noise but it all sounded normal. So I shut it down and started it back up and still the same. I continued home and turned it off for about 5 minutes while I contacted Nissan and drove to their service center which happens to be less than a mile from my residence but this time the car was fine and Nissan could not find any problems. The next day exactly the same shortly after leaving work except this time I drove it straight to Nissan while it was exhibiting the symptoms. They plugged it into the diagnostic reader which gave them an error code then contacted a Nissan engineer and determined that something is defective with one of the throttle bodies and needs to be replaced. Apparently this is something that has manifested with several of the 370-Z's on the road and Nissan is aware of it. We shall see if that is the case. It has done it 1 more time when leaving from work but no other instance so far. I am debating their quote of $1,700.00 to replace them, are they trying to tell me that both need replacement or is this for one. I see them as anywhere from $150.00 to over $500.00 each and then the labor for install, how much are they charging for that. Anyway I think we are talking about the same mechanical issue.
