UpRev Tuned at Performance Tuning today

I had a great experience at Performance Tuning. My numbers exceeded my expectations on a steady state Dyno Dynamics Dyno. I definitely recommend them if your in the WBV area

Default UpRev Tuned at Performance Tuning today

I had a great experience at Performance Tuning. My numbers exceeded my expectations on a steady state Dyno Dynamics Dyno. I definitely recommend them if your in the WBV area and need UpRev. I loved the ride home. Check the link below to my album with dyno sheet.

Cg's on the results. Power looks real smooth. What was your elevation and temps if you don't mind me asking? Here in Vegas, the heat and elevation kill power on my car. I had trouble breaking 300 whp in 95 degree weather last time I was on rollers. My tune is coming soon. I just datalogged for an etune. Then ill take it to get a dyno tune.

Thanks, the elevation is about 300ft. The temp that day was prob 80 degrees. But also Ptuning has their Dyno enclosed in a separate room within their garage (kind of like a paint booth if you can imagine that) it helps reduce noise spilling into their showroom. But it also helps control the temps of the room itself and with exhaust fans running sucking exhaust out and fans running on the front of the car the temp in the Dyno area is pretty well managed. These guys really got their sh!t together. So big props to their facility and their tuner. I think every shop should have a setup similar to theirs. Check the link to their dyno info page. I know there is much debate as to which Dyno is more "accurate" inertia vs. steady state. I did my research and everything I read showed Tuners prefer steady state dynos (specifically Dyno Dynamics bc of how it collects data and presents it) by the way it calculates load and they are able to tune smoother curves with one so that's another reason I went with the shop I did. I think the power curve on my sheet shows this very well. So I felt I was getting the best custom tune I could for what I was spending. Plus I also read steady state dynos are able to simulate load conditions similar to the street so what you put down on a steady state Dyno is closest to what you will put to the pavement. So that makes me feel good seeing I produced the numbers I did knowing that.

I'm going in to P tuning for a tune on Friday...I have the Berk HFC's and Nismo R Intake. Later this summer if I get a CBE I'll get it adjusted. Neither Berk and FI has an exhaust I can get till late July or August...and I don't want to drive that long without a good tune. Its flowing a lot more air so the mapping needs changed regardless of not having the CBE on yet. I'll post dyno plots when I get it done Friday.

Awesome good luck! If you haven't been to Ptuning yet I think you will have a good experience. Everything went smooth for me, I even waited for it bc they are almost 2 hours from me. But they have A flat screen with a dvd player and movies all set up with a couch and some chairs. Also another smaller flat screen set up with an X-box and a Foosball table. You get to go back and see them do a couple pulls on the dyno when they are close to done doing the tune. It was money well spent.

Yes, they installed my intake, oil cooler, and HFC's last month. Now its tune time. I live in DC, its about a 40 minute drive to get out there.

Redline727, I am glad you're very please with the UpRev tune result.
The Dyno Dynamics at PTUNING is known as heartbreaker, to show
the actual number to the wheel. Good thing the tune went smooth
as expected. Thank you for your review on UpRev tune.
Let me know if you need a re-tune in the future.

Doug
