Now I just have to get a cable and figure out which license upgrade to purchase so that I can remedy my pig rich condition. Cold/warm start it poor as well. Good luck contacting UPREV and getting a straight answer. I spoke with Rich about either getting tuned @ UPREV or getting a cable and license upgrade and he told me to email him. That was Tuesday and no response yet..............

Done and Done. Rich is cool and all but he does get distracted easily and isn't the best at following up with people... lol

God, all this tuning talk makes me want to buy my cable right now. Gotta save up for it This all makes me sad, cause the tuner that did my car only changed A/F ratio to 13.1 and timing I think +1, and that was about it. He didn't do maps or anything... Now I just want to learn to do it myself and save some money.

My only concern is blowing the motor lol. I just have to take it slow. I hope you guys don't mind when I start asking 4.5 metric tons of questions!

What tables do you ajust the timing in ?
do you bump it 2 or 4 degress.
im new at this as i went from my wicked Cobb tune to uprev, because of the GTM tranney had to have an un prev flash.
Can you flash the tranney with uprev and put the cobb back on the ECU.
thanks

I have some new software where I copy and paste my timing map and it shows me the table in DBTDC

I don't think you will need the Cobb once you get use to tuning with Uprev.

Timing is pretty fickle on our cars tho. It will only actually add that timing if the knock sensor lets it.

In my car it is highly dependent on IAT and ECT whether I see -27deg or -17.

They are,but for some reason even thou mine is FI it likes alott of timing till about 6k then it makes more power when the timing is pulled back after that.

That corresponds to a VVEL event I'm pretty sure. Check out the logs sometime

Hello everyone. I just got my stillen supercharger installed. I got a custom tune and they used up rev. They were able to squeeze 385whp from a mustang dyno. The problem is that I have to pump the gas while pushing the ignition button for it to start. Also my brake light and vdc off light comes on when I accelerate hard. I took it to the runner and he said that is normal. Now i don't think that is normal. What do you think?
Also my computer that reads the temperature outside does not work either.

No that's not normal all of those things work in my car,I would go back to the tuner and check the cranking enrichment settings that solves alott of problems with pumping the pedal on start up.

Call Uprev tomorrow with your ECU serial # and they will give you a stock ROM and a back to stock Rom.
