So everything went smooth Saturday, the car is a dfferent animal again? I actual started a thread on myg37 about the ECU's relean with a tune. We reflashed the car and made some small changes to TQ management, timing( Added) and fuel( took some way) but the car literal screws now off the line, Hit it few times over the weekend from a dig and you could actualy feel the car twist a bit, even the wife was like WHOA did we slid or something, LOL . Just seems so different now.. BTW the fans speed is AWESOME, U usually see 200 oil temps and 185 tranny temps, We adj the temp to 185 fans start to come on and I saw nothing above 185 oil and 165 Tranny. Idle not sure man sorry but looks like 950? If I remember right. 7SPD auto BTW

I want to do some data logging on my normal commute to check my tune. Can someone tell me what the are the most important parameters to log? When I load Cipher there is a long list and I am not sure which ones are the most important to track.

Although it's pretty risky, it'll be nice to be able to share throttle tables just to get back the snappy response of the 350Z. I don't care how much power the car make, which already pulls hard to redline. For daily driving, even the Xterra has more grunt.

O rly?
![]() Were you able to achieve 100% throttle as well? When my car gets tuned, I'm definitely going to try to add in these tweaks. Can you set these throttle values to one of the maps? That way I can keep this stock table for rainy/winter driving, and switch to the next map. It'll be like having sport mode! I can only imagine what this map + turbos is going to be like, but I'm all for improved low end response for daily driving. Is the table based off the one dragonbreath posted? I'm several months away from tuning anyhow... need to switch over to external wastegates, 3" down pipes, and 3" exhaust first.

Should work fine, haven't tried it personally but the throttle table is independent of the trans type, I know the stock tables look exactly the same so it recons that the tuned table would be the same. The Z33 throttle tables are identical between auto and manuals as well (stock and tuned)

I get my replacement ECU tomorrow morning and then off to the dyno for tuning. I am going to see if it is possible to run one map with etc on and another with it off. I haven't even seen the software yet, so I am running blind till later on. I am sure the tuner is going to be sick of my questions, lol!

The ETC control effects the entire tune, its not like the fuel, timing, or rev/speed limiter controls which are map specific, there's only one setting for all 5 maps. Same thing with the code deletion and fan engagement temp settings

So turning ETC off killed pretty much everything. Dave was able to adjust the torque table and that made it so that VDC was less invasive. Now I just have to get a cable and figure out which license upgrade to purchase so that I can remedy my pig rich condition. Cold/warm start it poor as well. Good luck contacting UPREV and getting a straight answer. I spoke with Rich about either getting tuned @ UPREV or getting a cable and license upgrade and he told me to email him. That was Tuesday and no response yet..............
