ECU dump turnaround time
I've been waiting for almost a week now on an ECU dump I sent to Uprev. I have the tuner version and my ECU wasn't on their ROM list so I sent them the dump. How long is the turnaround time on this? I was planning on doing one mail tune before I let my shop start tuning, but if it takes this long for a tune also, I may rethink my tuning plans.

who did you send it to?
|
I read on their site that it takes 1-2 weeks. I was thinking of getting an e-tune done to add a 91 octane map to my 94 octane map.

I'm pretty sure the etunes are a lot quicker, they have a couple tuners who can handle those but it has to be the engineer who writes new code for the dumped ecu and I believe there's only one? not sure tho

Thanks for the input, maybe I just like having things now. I hate waiting... especially when I paid for it already.

Lol. Indeed. Well, it's not like it's a good time for me to blow wads of cash on tuning as I'm closing on my house in these next couple of weeks. I still want it done... like yesterday though.

At eight days now. This whole two week thing just might be accurate. I just want it back so I can get a mail tune done before I take it in for shop tuning.

Woot, finally got the email back today. They said it was ready on Friday. So I called and two min later I had it in my email. Now I can get this car running the way it should be. I changed my rev limiter aand fuel cut off to 8000 rpm, saved the rom changed, reflashed it, checked on the freeway, and it's working! :D I'll post results in a new thread with a more relevant title. Turnaround time was 2.5 weeks.

Nice! I knew they hadn't forgotten about you :p
