Should I get a UpRev tune with these mods?

I'm wondering if the UpRev tune would be worth the money or not based on the mods that I currently have. Would I notice a change, and would the change be significant enough to warrant the cost. I currently have Berk HFC's, HKS Hi-Power CBE, Stillen Gen 3 Intakes. What do you guys think?

do you plan on doing more modding in the future, if you do you should wait on a tune, but if not go for it.

I dont plan on doing any more mods. What will be the benefits if I do the tune?

That is enough to get an UpRev tune. You aren't getting the full potential of the poweer adders you have installed until you get the tune done. Like said above, if you are adding more mods soon, then add them and then get the UpRev installed and tuned so you don't waste money on another tune right away.

you will correct your AFR for one, advance/retard timing to get more power out of the motor, run smoother, and feel more tq/hp in your butt dyno! :bowrofl:

i gained 11hp and 22ft lbs mostly stock (only exhaust) in my frontier. yes, you will definitely notice a difference. as stated above. make sure you are "done" with your performance mods, then get it tuned.

get a valet mode or a theft mode on the car, you will love the look of the valet after they try and hot rod your car and it wont go more than 30mph!

What does this usually cost for the hardware and a dyno tune? Anyone know of a good shop in Dallas?

AlphaSnacks 02-08-2012 02:43 PM

Absolutely should be done. It'll wrap everything up in a nice and perfect package. Tunes are very important to these motors.

AWDTuning in Flower Mound. UpRev license will run $500-$700 plus tune and dyno time.

Hp logic does it for $550 total
