Here is a review from a motorcycle group on using an ignition amplifier: Do Aftermarket Ignition Amplifiers Make A Difference? Looks like the motorcycle benefited from a 2% gain in horsepower (61hp up to 63hp). I believe thhe Ninja 650r is an inline 2-cylinder engine that revs to probably 12,000 rpm. I'd say these things may work, but I'm not gonna be the first to try it. I'd say if this amplifier does what it says it will do, then it will be better for FI turbo or blown 370z. In NA form usually ignition upgrades dont do very much. FWIW the 370z has a really strong alternator for factory. I doubt there is much voltage problems as say a 12A motorcycle system running a generator (Not an alternator). |
