Congrats on the dyno and tune man. Those are pretty much the exact numbers I got...which isn't surprising considering we have the same mods. Did he increase your rev limit?

Jordan - I talked with Martin and he's going to meet me at my work sometime next week to adjust my shift speeds. I want it lightning fast!!

No the rev limit is the same. I rarely get it up that high anyways. Did you raise yours? Is your car AT?

Cool! Yeah, I'm used to it now. I like having it set on "tooth rattler" :D

Lol...my wife is going to need a neck brace when she drives with me.

Actually, it's still pretty gentle (though firmer than stock) in D or if you don't give it too much throttle -- the firmness is related to throttle position, RPM, and load.

Ah -- and I discovered something neat today: If you modulate your foot just a wee bit on the gear shift to give a bit less throttle, it will soften the shift considerably, even when otherwise driving pretty hard.

So, for example, floor it --> modulate throttle input slightly+shift--> resume flooring --> repeat.

With practice you won't lose much engine speed, but can make the shift as firm or gentle as you want.

Or just gun it and prepare the neck bace :icon17:

Yeah...I'm just going to have Martin turn it all the way up! :)

Good man -- let me know how you like it. It's not a tune for the meek, that's for sure :D

You don't need to buy the cable and software to get the tune though. I bought it because I wanted to be able to revert my ecu back to the stock tune in case the car had to go to the dealership for serious work. I live 2hrs away from anyone that does Uprev, if I was closer I would just have the shop change it back to stock when/if I needed and save the money of the cable/software. Having said that, I ended up paying $150 more doing it the way I did, compared to the cost of just getting the Uprev. So it was worth the money at the end of the day.

Good idea and thanks for the tip. Josh is a good guy and has set me up with some sweet deals in the past.

At Jordo. I have always like yourself only really compared dyno numbers with the dynojet. BUT in my opinion I like to have my car tuned on a dyno (mustang or whatever) that actually puts a load on the drum to simulate real driving conditions or close to it for the most part. What are your thoughts on this? The best tune in my opinion would be someone with alot of experience thats willing to ride with me down the interstate at about 150mph. Obviously that want happen, lol...

Go job going to SG ! unfortunatly they are closing which is where I always went for all of my Dyno time seat ! hehe

I did a baseline on that Dyno with my 2009 7AT and the result was 258 whp
the last time I went there fully modded (with bad timing problem probably due to my badly cracked flywheel) more datalog this weekend since I just got the car back from Nissan (replaced the whole AT tranny and flywheel)

I had 311 whp

with a full bolt-on exhaust I had 280whp
so your 303 whp is good with the setup you have

Great numbers! I had similar results with a similar setup Berk Uprev Tuned

Other than the road/track, a load bearing dyno is indeed best for tuning.

For measuring power at WOT, dynojet all the way!

I don't know why, but Sasha kept saying my car hit 306 hp and that it was pretty good considering my car based at 300 hp. So I'm not sure if there was more to my dyno that showed on his screen than we see on my printout graph.

Yeah, sucks that SG is closing, it's hard to find people that have the same kind of (or better) attention to detail that I have. Don't know what I'll do if I decide to go FI.

Thanks! Anything over 300 at the wheels was good for me. Your dyno looks good too!

i doubt you would have gained more than 3-5whp over what you got already ..
my advantage over you at 311 was my bigger throttle body / cai & maf tube / PPE long tube step header

before my 311 I had 299 with the shorty headers (stillen)

He didnt replied to my email yet , im calling him today for the 19th for a quick one !
