Ah, I see you got the dynos posted

STD correction tends to be high for N/A cars (I refer to them as the "braging rights" dyno numbers :p ), but he made a solid 305 SAE corrected on the best run.

Definitely good numbers!

I've also revised my position a bit on the G3's -- tubes + filters are still excellent bang for the buck, but the G3's did much, much better than I expected based on other dynos I've seen!

Might give them a try if I can score a set on the cheap.

BTW -- everybody with the 7 speed needs to have their shift speed tuned. My car is like a wild fvcking beast now!

Hey Jordo, What is the "Shift speed tune" I know what you are talking about" The time between shifts" But is this something New for UPREV? My tuner said they was nothing for the non FI cars, IE line pressure adjustments or anything..Thanx man

I beleive it's the "torque map" -- definitely there on the latest versions of UpRev. Although from the factory the shifts are pretty fast, there is LOTS of room to make them even faster.

Seriously -- there is NO need for a valve body upgrade on this car -- it can all be done electronically, and you can get the trans shifting so fast it will bang in to slected gear HARD with virtually instant gear grabbing at any speed or under any degree of load.

I'd love to get a log of the speeds cranked up like this, but i'ts gotta be around .1 second or faster. It's crazy fast! I've been in a GT-R and this trans can be set to shift just as fast as that.

Also, the throttle response can be remapped to make the car incredibly responsive -- again, my car feels like a wild animal now!

Driven gently, it's more sporty than stock, but still comfortable as a DD -- but get on it just a bit, and it's a whole different beast.

This speed shift tune ...did you have to ask the tuner for it or he did it automatically?

Is this tune for when the car is in D and it flies through the gears or in manual?

Newb questions.

You have to ask and they have to know what they're doing... it will shift faster and harder in D as well, but still streetable. I find it mainly noticeable in M.

It can also be set to shift firmer according to load and TPS, so gentler when crusing and firmer when getting on it.

I've got it cranked up so high I may just have it scaled back a bit :p

And from what I've been told, there's room to make it even firmer! I have to say, any firmer from what I have would not be streetable -- I believe I have it something like 75% firmer than stock... but, oh, yeah, that fvcker can move now!
