Basically you take your car to the shop, have it tuned on the dyno, pay $600 and leave with an UpRev license for your car. You also have the option to have it re-tuned at a lower price since you already have the license should you install a new bolt-on on the car for example.

So you would have to pay a little extra to get the cable and access to Cipher, correct? What if you just buy a used uprev cable from someone?

$200 for the cable which also has a Cipher license.

Yes, you can purchase a used cable from someone, they are not married by VIN. You can also use the UpRev cable to trouble code check anything OBD-II (any newer vehicle).. as much as you want.

Default UpRev cable and a question

Should be getting my UpRev hardware (standard - may go to tuner later) so I'll see what cable it has. I have several other OBD-II cables (serial, USB and even a WiFi one).

Now to my question - 2011 370Z Coupe, AT, Stillen intake, Stillen exhaust, Stillen headers and Berk cats (both yet to be installed). So what RWHP should I expect. My math seems to say a bit north of 350 RWHP and I found one dyno sheet with everything but the headers that showed 338 RWHP - curious if anyone else has the same gear and results?

Happy Holidays!

Never seen anyone near 340whp with bolt-ons. Depends on the dyno, some read high, ideally, you get the dyno numbers before and after a mod and check the difference.

Depends on the dyno really. Some read high while other read low. Most people with similar mods seem to average around 300-320 whp depending on the dyno. Anything higher than around 320 or so is probably a high reading dyno. Like prescott said though, it's only the change in whp from the mods that really matters.
