I agree. I am hoping you guys make it possible for the module to let the consumers do a bit more custom. For instance.. balancing a/f w/ intake only.. or exhaust only.. or exhaust + intake.. or exhaust + intake + headers... And so on.. I see a good potential of the carbeing able to gain 5-10 more to the wheels.

I'm hoping soon. I'm still trying to find the time to sneeze that into my schedule. I'll post an update as soon as I get the car dyno'd before and after the flash.

Send me your sn# and contact info in a PM and I will hook you up with what you need..

Please save up for the custom tune, I would love for you to compare them on the dyno.

Maybe I should have looked at their site beforehand to see the gains. lol.

Seems pretty good. Just wish AFR was in there.

When a manufacturer post comparison info it never has the same effect as the end user posting. We publish rear wheel dyno charts for every vehicle we support.

I just want to make it clear in here that I am not doubting this product. I think it would be awesome if it gains some power (even better if it is closer to the canned uprev tune). It's hard to understand any actual gains based on a review without any dyno numbers to back it up (and to make sure the AFR is in check as well...who knows where the hypertech puts you at with mods).

They should totally send me one to test. I'd have had it dynoed the first week to make sure it's not hurting anything (but I am sure it is conservative enough). What parameters in the ECU is it actually editing? Seems to be it has more to do with throttle response than anything else. I remember a thread on here where people were buying that one part that increased voltage for the accelerator and they were making it sound like the car picked up power. Butt dyno can be very deceiving.

:tiphat: 30 day no questions asked return policy should give you plenty of time to dyno

You got a PM. I apologize for the late response. I'd love to have UpRev done, but I have already saved up for GTM Stage 1 SC. Just waiting for full control of VVEL.

I guess member gaveup deleted his post.

He mentioned the module that increases the voltage.. That's Sprint Booster.. The thing is.. it makes it so you don't have to floor the pedal to get 100% throttle (Drive-by-wire sucks) but that DOES NOT get rid of the "hesitation" even with VDC off. I don't know how Hypertech did it with their module without full control of VVEL, but my car no longer suffers from this problem.

is this hypertune already pre-set tuned for all z?

is it possible to update or change the tune setting?

Unfortunately no. I'm still waiting for a PM back from Hypertech. The module has a canned tuned good for stock up to mildly tuned Z. I'm trying to get a bit more custom out of it.. I'm still waiting

Compare with the uprev...

How much different will the hypertech cost including tuning and dyno?

100...200..300..??

Depending on how much you can get a hold of your modules for either product. Both are one tune for one car unless you purchase another license (UpRev Only). Module to module the UpRev cost more, but you have the ability to smoothen out your power and torque curves depending on how much dyno tune time you spend.

I'm still waiting for member Hypertech to see if we can incorporate a more categorized preset tunes to squeeze out a few more HP/TQ using the current module.

If any of you guys want to try it, i have 2 Hypertech modules in stock.
I had this on my G37 for a year before i went boosted. I can honestly say its worth every penny.

Also, there is no charge to go back to your stock MAP. :)) You can easily install and remove changes with the module including decreasing your red line (valet mode), even limiting your top speed for safety :)

Pm me for pricing

I haveone for my 7AT G37xS sedan. Love it for what it is. Throttle lag is very minimal now and there is definitely more hp/tq. It's been quite useful too, for those times I've had to valet. Set the top speed to 25mph... ;)

Never thought of that as a use....nice one :tiphat:

Yeah it takes a minute or two, but its quite handy for valet. ;)
