For some reason it won't recognize my ecu. I guess it's too new? I've already emailed Uprev asking the same question, but they haven't got back to me yet. Unable

Has anyone tried Cipher with their 370z?

No idea here, but now that you posted that I'm curious, do the BCM controls on your Cipher work w/ your 370? Is there anything in there about the rear fog light? It would be nice to get confirmation that the BCM does indeed know about the fog light and can illuminate it (you'd have to check illumination with a voltmeter at the dangling harness by the fake foglight in the rear bumper).

Yep, the BCM controls work on my 370z. I didn't see anything about the rear fog light though.

My understanding is that UpRev is still developing for the 370Z. According to Sharif from Forged Performance, they're not too far off from being finished. I plan on having Sharif dyno tune my car with UpRev once they're ready to go.

I just hope I won't have to pay for the update to the software I already paid for.

Jared just got back to me last night, they're working on an update for it to work on the newer cars.

I emailed him back about that.
He said there's something with the timing to connect to the newer cars, recommended trying it several times and it might connect.

Make sure you have the latest software downloaded from their website and installed.

Sup guys, I had left my car with UpRev in Austin for a few days so they could get the ball rolling, they had an ECU already but no car to really get some work done so I volunteered to be the test mule ! They said they are gonna have to update their software in order to get it working like they did with the 350..something about there is more **** with the 370z or something(don't quote me on this stuff by any means haha). I'm not real familiar with this tuning software yet so I don't have a lot to tell you but I have read nothing but good things and am eager to get started with it ! The guys from UpRev were really cool and treated my car with great care. I just hope I was able to help.
