Question from a Newbie

I have my 2011 NISMO, and I'd like to know if there are any mods that will give me any noticeable HP increase without spending a ton of money or voiding the warranty.

I haven't messed with modding a car in close to 20 years, so I won't likely know what the heck you are talking about if you just answer with an acronym, so if you can, please give an 'end user' style answer if you don't mind.

Thanks,

Ehdge

High flow cats
Cold air intake

Those would provide a nice solid start for your Nismo, a nice sound with a decent power bump. After that you will get into things like tuning, pulleys, etc.

If you're in a state that doesn't smog test, you could look into (Resonated) Test Pipes.

(R)TPs

My state doesn't, but my county does, so I need to keep it 'clean.' The High Flow Cats sounds like a good option to start with. Any recommendations for a brand?

You can run no cats as long as you dont throw a CEL, the Fast Intentions Test Pipes are made not to throw a code, but if you get an UpRev tune they can turn off the rear 02 sensors.

Go HFC's the WHP diff is under 5, TP or HFC's.. Also if you have the rear O2's turned off can you still get a inspection sticker?
