Default Looking for info sources on CAN/OBD Modes and PIDs (especially 370Z-specific)

. I bought a ScanGaugeII* a couple of weeks ago. I've spent quite a bit of time since then trying to find info on reading/writing data from/to the ECU and other modules on the CAN bus. I've found a lot of info on Mode 01 PIDs, but next to nothing about 370Z/Nissan-specific parameters. I'm not expecting to get all the info for free, but it would be nice to find some free sources for bits and pieces, eg, throttle pedal position (apparently the Throttle Position Sensor (Mode 01 PID 11) is throttle plate position).
.
. And a quick question: In mode 01, does the module ID (2 bytes) used matter? I've been using 0x07DF because I saw it used in an example. I'm afraid to just start plugging different IDs in without knowing more about what I'm doing.
.
. TIA for any help.

*I'm waiting for delivery on a homebrew, Arduino-based unit, but it may be a month or more before I get my hands on it.

Bump. I've just started playing with Torque, which is an Android app that reads from an OBDII -> Bluetooth adapter. I already had my phone's car dock mounted in the cubby area with a semi-permanent USB power connection to use it for Google's GPS Nav stuff, so this makes really good sense for a cheapo OBDII data display as well.

But yes, while the "standard" PIDs give a lot of useful info, there are several others I'd like to have access to that are Nissan-specific. According to Wikipedia, the data generally isn't public, and you have to pay for a $7,500 membership to some stupid organization to get a list for "most" manufacturers, which I'm guessing is secret.

I'm going to keep digging around the internet, if anyone has any ideas for finding Nissan PID lists, please speak up
