Other than going through "official" channels to get ecu reading software...is there any other way to "obtain" it? I need something that will allow me to read engine codes and do data logging using the Uprev cable that i have.

Actually, i need Uprev Cipher - or - Nissan Consult III

i just need an alternate method of obtaining it.....if you catch my drift

i want to read the codes that are being thrown. Right now i have to drive over to the dealership every time...would be easier if i could do it myself. I also need to be able to do some data logging.

ehhh if you can afford these:
2010 Z Sport/Touring, Magnetic Black, Persimmon, 6MT, NAV, Stillen Super Charger, Oil Cooler, HFC, CBE

You should be able to write uprev and ask much the software is.

Most auto parts stores sell OBDII code readers for really cheap these days.

you can erase codes, datalog and pretty much do everything you need.
