Other than going through "official" channels to get ecu reading software...is there any other way to "obtain" it? I need something that will allow me to read engine codes and do data logging using the Uprev cable that i have.

You mean what other datalogging software exists other than Uprev Osiris?

i want to read the codes that are being thrown. Right now i have to drive over to the dealership every time...would be easier if i could do it myself. I also need to be able to do some data logging.

You should be able to write uprev and ask much the software is.

Ironically, it is because of those items that i am poor now! :tup:

Most auto parts stores sell OBDII code readers for really cheap these days.

you can erase codes, datalog and pretty much do everything you need.

get a cable off E-bay and check the Torrent Sites.

except it isn't "aftermarket"

now decompiling that running a verification crack recompiling it and using a usb cable with the end changed out that would be "aftermarket" and no i don't have a clue where to get that, well the cable yes the program no.

not sure what you mean, but this app does what i need it to do.

what i mean is that is just osiris cipher you already have the cable so you can just download it from them for free. It sounded like you were implying that you were looking for lets say a "shady" version of uprev or freeware that does the same thing.
