Swapping an ECU with an UpRev tune - this is possible?

So I'm going to be trading in my 370z for another 370z....long story. Currently my car has the following mods listed in my sig. The dealer has offered to move all bolt-ons to the current car so everything will be exactly the same. My current car and the new one I am getting are EXACTLY the same in spec, same year, same transmission, even the same color lol.

My question is as follows:
Since the new car is exactly the same, and the mods are also the same can I actually just swap the ECU from my current car to the new one? Is this feasible? Will anything bad happen?

The reason I'm asking this is because otherwise I have to bring my current car back to the tuner(HP Logic) and have the current tune pulled off of it in order for me not to be charged $500 again to replace the tune to the new car. This is time consuming and a lot of driving as HP Logic is 45 minutes away from me, plus this cannot be done in the same day.

I think swapping the ECU will save time and hassle. Any help would be appreciated as I plan to sign the papers for the new Z tomorrow evening.

Everything would work, except the car will not start. Dealer will have to relink the new ECM with your BCM

This car happens to be at a BMW dealership. Will it have to be taken to a Nissan dealership for that?

They were the same to start with.............

I am sure They were the same to start with, so I would think that a swap could be done with no problems

Yes, Nissan Consult III is needed. How does a BMW dealership end up replacing your 370z with an exact same color and model?

Somebody else traded it in? It's not a replacement.

Guess it looks like I'll have to the tuner then.
