Update on boost reading

The gauge will read positive boost with a 2 bar maf (i am pretty sure stock maf is 1 bar?). Chances are if your going for really high boost this would be on your list of mods anyways.

For those running lower boost, there is an add on kit that will work for reading boost and its only $55.

So you're saying we need the add on kit to read anything over 1 bar or we need it to read any boost?

No one on stock internals should ever need more than 1 bar... I second pucksaw's question.

weak!! i will run 15psi.

RCZ 11-17-2010 07:04 PM

for like 7 seconds. Hell, unplug the wastegate lines and let it rip, set a record for most boost on a vq.

right now, no one should need more then 1 bar. But lets face it, its only a matter of time before people start doing internal work and start going for bigger boost.

But you didn't answer the question ;)

You need an add on kit or you have to upgrade to a 2 bar maf for the gauge to read boost

wishihadnav 11-18-2010 05:12 PM

$55 aint bad for a boost sensor...very interested..

wheee! 11-22-2010 06:04 PM

ok, new thread is here http://www.the370z.com/tuning/28657-...uge-part2.html. I am hoping most people interested in thread will follow over to that one. I am talking to AK now to see if he'll let me post pricing.
