Those where some good numbers. I used your car as an example many times on this forum to prove that those numbers are possible with simple bolt-ons.

Yea whats going on??? This thread was started 20 days ago. I hope this is a problem with the owner of the Z and not the shop seeing is I plan on getting my Test Pipes installed and UpReved tuned by Performance MotorSports in the very near future.

My car made 340hp and 290lb of torque on a dynapack after my uprev tune. it was pretty much 10hp and 5lbs across the entire curve. My A/F ratio was way rich though and they attributed my gains to that. I also went from 20-21ish mpg to 24-26.
This was all on a Dynapack and with the mods listed below so take that as you will

All you guys posting numbers should post your baseline numbers as well and whether these are corrected to some standard for comparison. I actually wrote an article about SAE correction this after taking my car to a dyno dynamics dyno, which you can read here.
Beyond whether they are comparable from pull to pull on the same dyno, we all understand that dynos read differently depending on how they load the car measure the torque at the wheels. A car that climbs from 260-300 (+40 hp, a gain of 15%) on a less optimistic dyno will have made more gains than one that went from 280-320 (+40 hp, a gain of a gain of 14%) on a more optimistic dyno. Likely if you lined the two up on the same dyno, the power would be nearly identical (within that 1% of each other). Dyno results only make sense when put into context. We can high five each other all day about some pull, but without context, that pull won't mean as much. |

Lets see, baseline was 296.4whp on a dynojet with nothing but test pipes
Latest Past with LTH, 2.5" plumbing, tune, K&N drop in 327whp and 251tq. Overall torque didn't really increase before and after tune but I now had a fatter torque curve through the whole power band especially mid range. I have the dyno sheet somewhere.

Hey Rez! hope you're enjoying the car!
Like every other UPREV tuned Z34s that we've done... forget the hp/tq gains... soon as you drive it after the tune, its a HUGE difference for sure.
