ECU power uprades?

Hello, I am new to this site, I am looking for information on ECU upgrades for a 2010 370z. are there any good chips out there? something basic that does not need to be tuned. what kind of power upgrades can the car make?

So I have been doing a bit of seaching and reading on here, I am a little confused on this up rev thing, So there physically is no product to install? I take it the osiris and cipher are just communication and diagnostic tools. I called a uprev dealer in Canada, he said he would tune my car for $500.00. That is purely rewriting the software. Thanx for helping me make sense of this

Normally I laugh when everyone gets mad at new member posting up something that could have easily been searched, but there is like 50 post that start with UpRev right in the begining of the tuning section LOL.

I realize that, however, as I said, they have left me confused, the last car I tuned had a piggy back ecu that tuned via laptop,

your tuner is going to use uprev software to tune your car. pretty simple :)

From my understanding the extent of any tune of the Zs ecu will simply adjust your air/fuel ratio (maybe timing?). If your car is completely stock I imagine you will see little to no gains whatsoever. The ride may feel slightly smoother.

The general consensus is dont even think about a tune until you have done some of the main air flow modifications (ex. cat back, hi flow cats/test pipe, headers, intake) because this will obviously result in better air flow for the car and thus will throw off the a/f ratio, which a tune can correct.

The only other cool thing you will get out of a tune will be the different maps, which have also been documented in different threads.
