Kidding aside, Dyno's have shown in the past that 7AT's would produce a lower Power reading than a same equipped MT, this has to do with the drivetrain loss is higher in the 7AT, but it's no slouch either.

I have the 7AT with a AAM tune off the Cobb AP and it was basically just a new file that got the A/F right and accounted for the 91 oct and altitude. My car runs good with no probs.

The tuner who I am going to to tune my car is talking about 40-80 HP increase.

I wouldn't be suprised judging by the cars he has done before.

He did say that he would change some things with the engine too. Last time he was talking about a custom intake manifold(he has a flow bench).

I wonder wtf he is gonna do XD

40-80 with some other mod on the engine which I am guessing would be the intake manifold since I don't see what else can be changed.

He is trying to convince me to go TT though lol

My guess is it's more likely to just shift peak torque up or down. Runner length has a big effect on that.

If it's really well polished and port matched, it might pick up 3-5% more power overall, but that's about it.

With the mods listed there is no way to get anywhere near 80hp over stock..

I don't know how or what he is going to do.

All I remember is the intake manifold and him dumping nissan's ECU and completely reprogram the thing. would be amazing if he figured out VVEL

I have a similar set up as you. G3, F.I. h.f.c's, Stillen cat back, and with the UpRev tune on a Mustang dyno showed a gain of 11 whp, which came to 286 whp.

Hmmm... I pulled 294whp with my G37xS sedan 7AT on a Mustang dyno... Stillen Gen 3s, ERZ HFCs, and Fast Intentions CBE... no tune.

Always have to at posts like these. Do you realize how different every Dyno is? Not only the location, temperature, humidity, but the dyno themselves give different results. Not to mention things like the correction factor when reporting the data could cause numbers to be drastically different.

Guys, guys... I got 400whp on the dyno!!!!!!
