0-60 MPH test

Has anyone who owns a COBB AccessPort used the 0-60 MPH test feature? Is the data reliable?

Not really reliable. The AP is just taking the speed from the car's computer which is read off the speedometer wheel sensor. The magazines use the Vbox systems which incorporate gyroscopes and GPS in tandem.

The Vbox is a pretty cool tool. I could only get 5.1 0-60 and 13.7@104 in my car. I think I'll stick to racing my V8 Pathfinder. It's slower, but more impressive for a 5000 lb SUV. 5.3 0-60 and 14.0@98.8 in the quarter.

I was able to get 5 secs by my Cobb here in TX which is high in elevation and on 91 oct with the FI CBE. A little dissapointed but I heard I would lose a good bit of power here in TX.

Eh...say what? TX has no elevation. I used to live there and have been all over the eastern half of the state, which is hardly "high elevation". Is the western half where you live and is it RADICALLY different? Sorry, I am not well-traveled.

its a mile high in El Paso, thats high compared to GA, and was enough of a difference where I lost a good bit of power. Plus I went from 93 oct to 91 oct with the move too.

I just didn't go west enough. Thanks for the geography lesson.
