too bad

I say POOH on Cobb as when they first came out with the thing they were promising this and that and now they cant deliver they just up and leave those that bought it. Big deal on the 1 yr warrenty. You get someone to buy something on a future promise and when it whoops thier butt, they tuck it and run. Well atleast AAM came out with a canned tune that helped some and the AccesPort can be used as a diag ting too.
I will say this, I will never buy anything from Cobb again. Hey Cobb how about a full refund on the AccessPort since you couldnt deliver what you said? |
:iagree: thanks for stringing us along. Wont get my business again. Fool me once.... :gtfo2:
|
Still got uprev.
|
Glad I tune myself - I do run AP though lol
|
Makes you wonder if they were ever even working on it...
|
Not very well handled that is for sure - could have done better , It seems customer relations is not a strong point, which considering some of the guys that work for them is surprising
|
So wait, All this really means tho is you wont get any maps from COBB anymore right? you can still buy the AP and get your car tuned at a decent shop and benefit from it. Biggest issue for a lot of people is getting their A/F mix right after throwing on a stack of bolt on parts + the few with the $$ for F.I.
Correct me if im wrong! :) |
So.. Is that mean Cobb will not release any firmware for 2010 370z?
Damn...I bought my ap and was unable to installed because I have 2010 ecu on my 09 370z. My dealer had swapped because of highpitch noise from 09 ecu... |
ah hell now that just blows. i was hoping they would add vvel tuning as uprev also announced that VVEL>Uprev what half a year ago? both companies suck as neither has the ability to crack the vvel on these engines. My question is what are all these half-a$$ed companies going to do when the OEM manufacturers start making everything that hard with the releases of obdIII and can2?

You can still use both and get a custom tune. You can still use both to measure A/F You can still use both to reset CEL's, etc |

We realize that we informed the 370Z community that OTS maps were on the way and that we did not deliver. Because of this, we have extended the AccessPORT Satisfaction Guarantee for the 370Z to 12 months from the date of purchase as mentioned in the original post. This means that if you wish to return your 370Z AccessPORT, you can. As others have pointed out, the AccessPORT is will continue to work as it has in the past as a hand-held ECU manager that can be pro-tuned or self-tuned, read and clear DTCs, datalog and perform as a digital gauge. AccessTUNER Race will remain available online for download should anyone want to begin self-tuning that hasn't had the opportunity to try earlier. Gary |
When it comes time to tune my car I was crossed between Cobb or UpRev... Guess they just made my choice alot easier. When I owned my Altima Tein did something just like this to us. They told us since the economy was so messed up they were not gonna make any products for our car for a while and focus on products that sell more. I understood them it was an Altima, but to ditch the Z???? that seems like a bad move.
