Nismo tune for non-Nismo cars?

My question is why? Add your bolt ons and get a Cobb or Uprev tune and call it a day.

Not sure how aggressive UpRev and Cobb tune the cars with the timing. I dont want to be pinging on the street b/c the tune is too harsh.

The whole point of those tunes is to avoid that . They get you to the optimal safe A/F ratio and you're good to go.

Adjusting A/F trims is good but I heard there is a lot of advanced timing in the tunes as well. Per previous discussions in posts, the A/F adjustment is safety only really not much power there. The timing is what is bringing the gains. I'd figure that the NISMO tune might also adjusting the valve timing a bit to properly get more out of the system, aside from just advancing the timing.

You can (and should) determine this empirically on the dyno and the road anyway...
