Need more info about tuning
I currently have the mods listed in my sig and I am interested in squeezing as much power I can get via a tune. After some research I am leaning more towards UpRev. I have located an UpRev tuner in my area(HP Logic) but I would like to hear some opinions here first from those who have had their car tuned.
What are the typical gains I can expect based on my mods(or similar mods)? Do you think it's worth the price(Looks like it's over $300)? Is there another tune that can get more gains(Cobb?)? Also yes I will be dynoing the car and will make sure to check the AFR ratio.

Don't know about UpRev.
I tuned my car with COBB, and I'm very happy with the result.

Interesting stuff, thanks. I dunno if those "gains" are worth the $350 + dyno pulls but it's better than nothing.
Edit: Is there a more aggressive type of tuning offered?

Do not look at it directly in terms of "gains" from a tune, but also what else you get from tuning.
Uprev and Cobb offer wide range of data logging abilities, multiple maps for specific build you are running. Custom maps like valet, theft, etc. Also, a tune will bring the car back into a safer area of running, and while the gains may be minimal at most the car will respond better and "feel" better throughout the entire power band. |

2nd what Baker Tuning said. It's not all about power gain but making sure the engine is running in a safe A\F and responding correctly. The ability to switch maps is a huge plus too!

I have similar mods on my G35 sedan HR and dyno tuned my car using Uprev. I gained 20whp at peak and more than 20whp throughout the power band (from less than 3K to 7.7K). The car feels better, drives MUCH more smoothly, and it has gained much more power than all my bolt on mods combined. This is no butt dyno power gain, the car is that much better. Plus, since I bough the tuner version software, I can retune my car whenever I want as well as use the Cipher software to data log the car and monitor it any time. not to mentioned map switching, read and clear DTC, etc.
