Uprev map switching
 

Just wondering what different kinds of maps you guys have , I've seen powwer, valet, economy and launch control.

I just let the shop do one (power), I probably should go back and have valet & economy put on.

Valet seems pretty gd idea but.I've seen plz use that for launch any gd?

Typical maps my customers do and I recommend are:

1. Tuned Map for 91 Octane
2. Tuned Map for Higher Octane
3. Valet
4. Anti-Theft
5. Factory Maps

1. - Buy higher octane
2. - Yes
3. - Nobody drives the Z but the owner
4. - When not in use, store in the garage
5. - Yes

Don't wanna sound like an idiot but what's anti theft

Similar to valet map I believe.
~Valet map limits revs to 3000
~Anti theft limits revs to 1000 to 1500

Basically it will limit there speed, any ability to drive the car.

So they will then just fuk up your car more cuz they are pissed they cant drive it.

Don't maps reset back to the first one when the car is switched off? At least that's the case in my G

The way we set it up is so that if someone tries to start the car it won't fire up at all. The engine will crank over and over and never start up. In case someone gets hold of your key they would also have no idea on how to start the car up.

My UpRev stays in whatever map was previously set.
Re. the anti theft, have mine set so car starts but can only be driven 1 mph.
Valet set for 2500 rpm and max speed of 30 mph.
Then stock, 91 octane, and 94 are other 3 settings.

Anti theft and valet seems pretty gd idea maybe I try it out

I know - I don't even park my car in parking lots due to the amount of idiots in the world... Sad really...

I forgot what my maps are...oh well.
