From what ive seen on YouTube lol but launch is ike valet where max rpm is like 3.5k then you manually switch to power when you take off

:)

1. Not always easy to find, and two to three times the cost, means that most people aren't going to use it except for at the track. I think you'd lose most people who wanted a tune if you didn't offer a tune for the gas it's meant to use.

3. The valet setting is awesome. I couldn't find any parking last night and was going to either get valet or be late to the movie, so I chose valet. This prevents the valet from going faster than (if I remember correctly) 20mph. Turns out that is a good thing... my date and I kind of walked slowly, and just as we were getting close to entering the building, I thought, "Hold on, I know that sound." Turns out the valet decided he wanted to take my car for a spin and had driven it around the block. Without the valet setting, he might have been able to hot rod it.

4. Some people go places :)

By the way, SpecialtyZ did my tune... great guys who did an awesome job!

Sam did you get all these five here?

1. Tuned Map for 91 Octane
2. Tuned Map for Higher Octane
3. Valet
4. Anti-Theft
5. Factory Maps

Is there a Launch control for the up-rev tune or is it just the valet mode like he was talking about. Launch control would be sick. How do you change between maps??? There is no hand held device like the AP correct???

-No hand held unit
-You switch using the cruise control buttons
-I am not sure if Uprev offers launch control map, but it is different than Valet (Valet limits revs to 3k no matter what).

once the map is selected it will flash the "set" light on gauge cluster 1-2-3-4-or 5 times depending on which map you selected....

I usually leave customers with 3 modified maps...

1-Tuned map
2-Valet mode (4000rpm and 35mph speed limit)
3-Anti theft mode (completely disables the car)

Cool, thanks for the info. I plan on doing this tune as soon as I get my Cat-Back and either test pipes or LTH... So your info has been very helpful.
