Cobb Tuned at Akuma Motorsports
Hey guys I just got my car tuned by Akuma Motorsports yesterday. Picked up some HP but the main thing is the way the car was running in the Lower rpms lots of power loss. Now the car runs amazing. Sorry for the bad quality pic but the scanner i have here at work sucks, you should be able to make out the number without too much of an issue.
Mods are: Injen Intakes, FI Long Tube Headers, FI Catback. Solid line is before and dotted line is after. Last edited by Daishi; 05-14-2010 at 11:46 AM. |

Wow... are you getting neck snapping throttle response under 3k? Is it a more linear transition? It stinks to get out accelerated by "weaker" cars during casual driving (under 3k RPM).

For thos of you who want to compare to dynojet numbers the dynojet dynos about 12% higher. plug in the numbers and you get 336whp/263 Last edited by Daishi; 05-14-2010 at 12:33 PM. |

your tq seems way low , but what do I know...
very nice gains from the tune though... Tony says his headers and exhaust doesnt require a tune, is it possible that low end nonsense was all caused by the intake ? thats the first I have seen of this 370 being hurt that much down low from mods though... interesting

Stock Intakes and Full exhaust you should be fine but the second you install an intake you start getting wacky A/F ratios and the car doesnt like it with all the mods combined. If your planning on getting a tune like I did then its not really a problem. |
